RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet bi-weekly with a team of 11 creatives and the other Executive Team members to drive and implement company-wide operational compliance.
Lead strategic initiatives for streamlining payroll and HR to improve scalability, agility, and efficiency.
Develop and implement guidelines for employee recruitment and re-hiring.
Establish departmental policies and goals in conjunction with board members and our executive team at weekly meetings.
Build a strong, resilient team by identifying and onboarding highly qualified candidates for key positions.
INTERNAL INITIATIVES
Documentation for Rehiring: Researching rehiring requirements + documentation for nonprofit employees in the State of California
Hiring Form by Job Description: Identify + categorize which forms Quilt will need for each employee, based on their roles & responsibilities.
Artist Media Release Agreement: Review and revise a more integrative, artist-friendly agreement in appropriate legalese for the 3rd and following Quilt editions.
Quilt Future Events: Help research local, underpromoted events for BIPOC creatives in the Bay Area + in our respective Quilt hubs.
Quilt HR Foundations: Created a centralized spreadsheet for all comprehensive research + best practices starting points for payroll, re-hiring, network software,s and organizational forms
